Jack Rafter delivered the internal fit-out and compliance package for a modern youth centre designed for daily community use. The scheme includes a large multi-purpose hall with acoustic baffles, sprung sports-ready flooring and high-level glazing; a fitness/activities studio; admin and meeting rooms; BM TRADA-certified fire-door installations, and a café/teaching kitchen for group sessions. We supplied and installed a new staircase and landing, complete with compliant balustrades/handrails, anti-slip nosings and durable finishes, improving circulation and step-free connectivity with the adjacent lift. Inclusive WCs feature IPS panelling and Doc M provisions, with durable safety flooring throughout. A passenger lift and clear circulation routes ensure step-free access. Materials were chosen for toughness and easy maintenance, balancing safeguarding, comfort and long-term value for the client.
